Help Access Ready, Inc. Advocate for Stable Programs and Services Supporting People with Disabilities

Four diverse individuals with visible disabilities stand before a crumbling central column labeled 'ACCESSIBILITY' that is breaking apart the entablature inscribed with 'DIVERSITY', 'EQUITY', and 'INCLUSION', symbolizing how the lack of accessibility undermines these principles; the scene evokes a solemn tone, with one man in a wheelchair, another standing with hands at his sides, a blind woman holding a white cane, and a woman of color touching an intact side column, all set against a classical architectural backdrop with partially visible words like 'CIVIL RIGHTS' in the background.

Well-intentioned efforts to reduce costs at the Federal and state budget levels are leading to what we must assume are unintended consequences.

The far-reaching consequences are developing through proposed cuts to Federally and state funded civil rights, healthcare, employment, transportation, veterans and other vital programs/services.

In conjunction with our compatriot organizations we have determined that such necessary advocacy is not business as usual and that it requires larger efforts than ever before.

Access Ready, Inc., based in Saint Petersburg, Florida, is committed to stopping the proposed cuts, but we can only accomplish this with your help.

Your generous donation can make a real difference. With your support, we can engage and support a number of individual and collective advocacy efforts.

This is not just about money. We need in kind and reduced cost goods and services as well.

If you’re reading this then you may have received a request to consider making a donation in funds or in kind or reduced cost goods or services.

Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to getting our message through.

In kind or reduced cost goods and services can help and it largely depends on the kind of business the donor is in. Contact us to discuss how you might be able to help. chair-ceo@accessready.org

How Your Donation of Funds Can Help

$21 given on a monthly basis can support our ongoing advocacy efforts through stable funding.

Any amount committed to on a regular basis gives us the ability to plan advocacy efforts in advance that engage more effected individuals and experts.

One-time donations provide that added boost at the right time.

  • $25 can support an individual advocate with communications or travel at the right moment. Individual advocates often must fund their own work, which is often difficult without support.
  • $50 can cover postage that is necessary when we need to get information into the hands of policy makers before a crucial vote.
  • $100 can fund necessary communications costs related to advocacy planning through Zoom or other platforms.
  • $250 can engage the support of experts necessary to counter misinformation.
  • $500 can help pay airfare and other travel costs when a face-to-face meeting is the necessary action for expert advocates.
  • $1,000 can support mass gathering events when it is time to make our voices clear and unmistakable on a given subject.

We have weathered storms before, and with your help, we can continue to support those advocacy efforts who need us most.
