Thought Leader Awards

Our Access Ready Thought Leader Award recipients are cited for their thoughtful leadership in various areas of concern to people with disabilities and humanity in general.

In each case all the Thought Leader Awards are given careful consideration and approved by the Access Ready Board of Directors. It is the custom to award the recipient by surprise at an event where it is not expected.

Remarks made at the time usually delivered by Access Ready’s Chair and Chief Executive Officer Douglas George Towne recall the recipient’s dedication and in particular the leadership they have provided that lead them to receive recognition.

The Thought Leader Award has no financial component to it and cannot be sponsored or purchased in any way.

Each recipient holds an honored place in our Thought Leader Circle through which they are able to provide the organization with ongoing inspiration and guidance.
